The Board of Directors Meeting on September 3, 2025 will be at the Tully Fire House with a small meal at 7:00 pm and the meeting will start at 7:30 pm

Next Membership Meeting
The OCVFA September Monthly Meeting will be September 17, 2025 at the ELBRIDGE FIRE HOUSE instead of Liverpool Fire House. The meal will be served at 7:00 pm and the meeting will start at 7:30 pm. Please come and join us. Please keep note of the location change. Have a great week and hope to see all of you on the 17th of September in ELBRIDGE.

Recruitment & Retention

As part of the Recruitment and Retention funding that the County Legislature approved for the Join Onondaga Fire and EMS recruitment website www.onondagafireems.com, we are pleased to host the following class: "Retention that works: Keeping the people you worked so hard to recruit" at the Emergency Management Office on Monday, August 18.

Walter Campbell from First Arriving Inc., who presented "Grassroots to Greatness" recruitment training last June and it was very well received for those in attendance, will be presenting this session as well.

Please consider sending members of your Recruitment and Retention Committee to this training.
